ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Lindsey Maycock. I'm a climate and sustainability communicator. I have recently graduated with an MSc in Sustainability and Environmental Studies from the University of Strathclyde. I also hold an honours degree in journalism. I have experience working in digital marketing and communications for a tech startup called IOTICS. I have a wealth of experience as a climate and social justice campaigner and educator. I have produced and presented podcasts for Extinction
Rebellion's official radio station, "Rebel, Radio". I have also organised, hosted and spoken at public events including a guest lecture at The University of Glasgow on sustainable economics. During my time at university which included an Erasmus semester in Amsterdam, I developed a wide range of skills and experiences such as hosting radio shows and reporting live from the EU election party in Zagreb. My long-term goal is to become a climate journalist.
